Minority Report

Medium close up
This image is a medium close up.this medium close up shot is when we can see the main characters face to his shoulder. In this medium close up image we can see Tom Cruise who looks like he has been noticed by flying officers, we can tell this by the emotion he shows in his face. The image tells the audience Tom Cruise has been running and therefore is out of breath . In the background we are able to see the alley way he had ran into, which had caused him to be trapped by the officers.

Wide shot
This is a wide shot image, a wide shot image allows us to see were the scene is set.In this wide shot image we are able witness a old car that has been vandalized as well as sabotaged. Furthermore, in the background we can see construction work as there are worker stands behind the old car. Also this scene tells the audience the image has been taken from the front of an alley way, you can tell this because we can see dimness and shadows. In addition, the shops are under construction so this lets the audience know that running into an alley way isn't an ideal area as there could be other criminals around. Behind the car you’re able to see Tom Cruise sprinting from flying officers.

Medium close up
This medium close up shot shows the audience that there are a lot of people on the hunt for Tom Cruise's character. This could suggest that they want him quite desperately and it's almost an emergency which make the whole atmosphere quite serious and tense. It also gives us a chance to see the characters' emotions, which is desperate and serious.

Camera Shots
This image is an medium shot, which shows  waist and upwards part of the person. Furthermore, this allows the audience to get an intro of the character.

This image is another medium shot of two characters.which gives the audience a clear idea of what they're doing in this image.

This shot is a wide/establishing shot, which gives the audience an idea of something bad about to happen because it shows a character creeping up on a another character, as he is watching the view.furthermore, it shows the audience what direction the character is walking in.

This photo is a medium shot, which shows the audience the action as well as emotions of both characters in the image. In additions the image shows the audience the right hand side person angry as he throws a punch at left hand side person. Also shows the impact of the punch on the upper body.

This image is a tilt up shot, we choose this shot to show the height and width of where both characters were.Which allows the audience to think of it being a very dangerous and treacherous. It also sets the scene.

this image is a tilt down shot, which makes it clear to the audience that the  character has fallen from the banister and drop to ground and died.Furthermore, this exaggerates the height of the banister he has fallen from.

This final shot is a close up shot of the character, which shows him holding the barriers after he was put into prison for his illegal doings.this gives the audience a clear idea of the characters emotions in the photo.

       Q4) BBC 1 Logo:

       Q5) BBC 1 footage:BBC 1, The Christmas Ones

      Part 3:

BBC NEWS target audience: The official target audience for the programme BBC NEWS is primarily teenager’s and adults as the programme uses very advanced English, which makes it harder for younger people to understand the message presenters try to get across to the audience. The gender breakdown could be as much as 65% male and 35% female. The age range would mainly concentrate on 14 till 70 years of age. Furthermore, BBC NEWS has recently had a huge increase in the number of people who have been watching it on either computer and Television. This has been quoted from BBC NEWS themselves “New figures released today show the BBC’s global audience has increased to a record-breaking 265m people a week. The figures, for 2013/14, represent an increase of 9 million people on the previous year”

      part 4:

      08/09/14

Arsema Dawit, 15, was stabbed 60 times by Thomas Nugusse at Waterloo, central London, in 2008.Her inquest at Southwark Crown Court heard this was six weeks after her family reported him to police. They had tried to report him for making threats and slapping her.In that incident at McDonald's, Nugusse hit Arsema on her face, leaving her with a black eye.Her mother and cousin told her inquest when they tried to report that incident, Gillian Johnson, the receptionist at London's Kennington police station, left them feeling that nothing would be done without more proof.Arsema's cousin Melyon Isak told the jury: "When I said that she [Arsema] had been assaulted she [Ms Johnson] kind of laughed and said in a joking kind of way 'why did you let him do that to you?' with a smile on her face."While they were at the police station Nugusse, who was 21 at the time, texted Ms Isak with the warning, "stay out of it don't get involved".He also left a voice message saying: "It doesn't matter what you guys do I'm going to find her anyway".Ms Isak told the court that, after hearing the message, the receptionist "jokingly said, 'you really don't like him do you?'. I told her I do not like him, no'."

The news editors chose this story because it raises awareness of what's going on around the world. Also how the crime rates in England continuously rises. It sort of warns many teenagers and adults to be careful on the streets of England, as any thing could surprisingly happen to you. Finally, it leavs people wondering if its safe for their children to go out.

      09/09/14

Prime Minister David Cameron said he would be "heartbroken" in the event of a "Yes" vote, while Labour leader Ed Miliband said the case for the Union came from the "head, heart and soul".Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond said the leaders could not be trusted.Meanwhile, a new opinion poll has suggested 47.6% of voters back "No", 42.4% "Yes", with 10% undecided. The new poll, by Survation for the Daily Record, was conducted before the Westminster party leaders announced their campaign visits.Mr Cameron and Mr Miliband abandoned their usual Prime Minister's Questions session in the House of Commons to head north, after other recent opinion polls suggested the referendum race was now neck and neck.Although the three leaders campaigned separately, they each called on voters to keep Scotland in the United Kingdom.

I think they chose the Scotland story because it affects the whole nation and to gain support to keep the UK as the UK from all the world leaders is news worthy. It leaves the Nation wondering if Scotland is going to become independent from England and Wales or not.

      10/09/14

MP says he has 'deep regret' for actions that led to common assault on his ex partner earlier this year.

More people would watch the news for this story as it's a story we haven't heard, which just might increase number of people who watch it because they want to know what their prime minister has been up to lately.

Media Language: The first key convention of the ‘FIFA 15’ advert is the logo in the centre and the product name below it.it has a catchy slogan ‘FEELTHEGAME’. The slogan tries to persuade the audience that it has the best football games for gamers. Also, the advert has the webpage link to get more information as well as deals. The advert uses a very famous premier league player, Eden hazard, who has won many awards throughout the football history. The adverts image uses focus to make the player stand out and background blurred.

Media Institution: The major institution behind this advert is ‘EA SPORTS’.EA SPORTS are Award winning developer of sports video games for the past couple years.they continuously make adverts look so special in order for them to over come their rivals 'ROCK STAR' as well as 'ACTIVISION'. Fifa 15 was made for all consoles; PS3, ‘PS4’, ‘XBOX 360’ and the ‘XBOX 1’.

Media Audience: The target audience of this advert is mainly for people who find interest in football. The gender breakdown could be as much as 90% male and 10% female. Furthermore, the age group will show a big gap but mainly concentrates on 5 till 35 years of age.It tries to persuade may rival gamers and subscriber to engage them to transfer to EA sports gaming.

Media representation: the advert represents white and male. Even though there a high number of black football players who play exceptionally well in international and premier league.Furthermore the 'EA SPORTS' industry doesn't ever think of bring in women football players as well as teams to make it equal.

The five stories that my group have chose is sports day being postponed, antibiotics,
and the ugly dog contests.

Sports day postponed: We chose this because we thought it was interesting. We started with sports being postponed because its school news and they would want to be informed.

Antibiotics:We chose this because this kinda story would be in the news so we wanted it to be realistic. i choice this second because

Classic books:We chose this because we wanted to have a varied news broadcast so its appealing to certain people in the school

Belgium vs USA chose this because majority of people in the school would have watched this.

Ugly dog contest:We chose this because we wanted to end the broadcast on a funny note.

We made sure that the script was the right length by not putting too much information in so we can record it in 60 seconds.

We made sure each story was clear to understand but giving brief summery and not making I too complicated.

We made sure the broadcast was professional by speckling formally.

I was the director of the group so I made the final decision.

I would rate my group contribution a 4 as they were pretty good and worked as a group

We could of spoke as group more.

I would have wanted to change roles because i wanted to be in the interview
Media Debate

Teenagers are involved in more anti-social behaviour than any other age group.

I personally disagree as the teenagers nowadays are common victim of anti-social behaviour. Furthermore, there are many other age groups such as: 20-27, 30+ which commit crime regularly, which overlaps the number of anti-social behaviour of teenagers. For example; Mafia which are run by adults, do many things which are part of anti-social behaviour.
